Overview

As one of our valued physicians, training tailored to clinical workflows is required for a smooth transition and access to APeX, and timely completion is essential for readiness on and after the Oct. 4 Go-Live.

Physician Training Requirements

APeX Physician Training has been modified to improve efficiency and accessibility. Please review the recent updates below:

  • NEW: Anyone, regardless of prior Epic experience, can now get APeX access through eCourse offerings (Amplifire Training) rather than required classroom training.
    • You can complete Amplifire Training in less time, at your convenience, from any location.
    • Excludes cardiologists and radiologists who still need to attend classroom training (virtual options available) due to specialized content.
  • Classroom training is still available for those who prefer this option.
    • NEW: Weekend offerings are now available to better accommodate your schedules.
    • NEW: Split classes (i.e., two 3-hour classes versus one 6-hour class) are also now available.
    • Virtual classroom options remain available.
