Overview
Day in the Life (DIL) activities are supplemental opportunities offered post training to practice workflows in the APeX system. Active participation in DIL is encouraged to help ensure you are comfortable and confident performing your common workflows in APeX at Go-Live.
Day-in-the-Life Details
- Who should participate: DIL activities will be offered for clinical and business staff in select departments and specialty areas. Super User engagement is strongly encouraged, but everyone will benefit from participating in DIL!
- Staff are encouraged to register for a Day-in-the-Life time slot on the DIL Sign-up spreadsheet.
- Why: The goal of DIL is to allow staff to practice common “Day-in-the-Life" workflows, building confidence working in APeX to prepare for October 4, 2025.
- What: Activities will vary by role and will include workflow walkthroughs and Shadow Charting.
- The IntegrateIT APeX team will come to departments to support staff while they perform common “Day-in-the-Life” workflows in APeX.
- Questions are welcome! Your onsite support will be glad to provide answers.
- When: Activities began on Monday, Aug. 25 and continue through mid-September.
- Where: Day-in-the-Life activities will take place in your work area at Saint Francis and St. Mary's.
